First Against Tthe Wall

Get on with it, George!

Far be it from me to accuse George Bush of milking the World Trade Center debacle for political advantage, but if he wants to enjoy the fruits of a "wartime mentality," it's about time he gave us a PROPER war. These carefully choreographed "raids" on egregiously remote "Osama Slept Here" cave complexes in just ain't makin' it. We need to turn back the clock about sixty years to the last REAL war we had, good-ole' WWII.

It's a historical fact that you don't win wars by poncing-about on the fringes of civilization. You win wars by destroying enemy cities. Unless they're done an "Orwell" on us, just pick up a history book and read about how we systematically carpet-bombed German civilians in places like Stuttgart, Berman and Dresden. Talk to the Japanese! A single firebomb raid on Tokyo, alone, killed 60,000 civilians, and I won't even mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That's why they packed it in and begged for mercy like scared little girls.

If you allow the politicians to make war all clean, and neat, and politically correct, they're just going to drive it right into the ground - like they did with the so-called "Cold War." They got us all hysterical about the "Russian Bogeyman" so that they could bilk us out of billions of tax dollars to feed the ravenous military-industrial complex beast, when all the Russians really wanted was few naughty books and some decent cigarettes. Granted, this time around it's a rather pathetic terrorist bogeyman, but it's the same old scam.

What we have to do is send George a message to "GET ON WITH IT!" Get your head out, dude! We've got enough stuff sitting in silos in Kansas alone (and I don't mean corn) to wipe out everyone in the Middle East who doesn't like Americans in about 45 minutes. Let's get the job done so that we can get back to normal. Considering, that fifteen of the nineteen scumbags involved in the cowardly sneak attacks of September 11th were from Saudi Arabia, I think the enemy city of Riyadh would be an excellent place to begin.
